Christmas Boxes...Hot Chocolate

Tomorrow I will be stamping with some of my fellow stampers. We will be working on Christmas cards. We will be in the Christmas spirit by the end of the day.

I love to give a gift when I know the stampers will be working extra hard. All the ladies that are joining me tomorrow will receive a little Fancy Favor Christmas Box with hot chocolate mix and mini marshmallows. YUM!

These boxes are so easy to make once you cut the shape out on the Big Shot. When using DSP that is almost all you need to do. For this gift I did add a little Just For You note punched out with my circle punch and then layered with anther circle and the Snowflake punch! (Thanks for letting me borrow that Mom!)

I hope they enjoy their gift! Have a wonderful weekend and I hop you are starting your Christmas cards!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Tags, Tags!

It isn't time to start wrapping your gifts yet, but that doesn't mean you can't plan ahead. In the past I have spent hours making beautiful tags to put on packages for my family. I will admit, I had a blast and it was worth every minute.

Now, this year I will be saving a lot of time that I could spend making home-made gifts and cookies for my family and friends!

All I need is my Two Tag Die for the Big Shot, some card stock, and some stamps. You really don't have to complicate it by adding a lot to them. These tags are cute just the way they are. I of course love stamping on them, though.

I hope you enjoyed my sample today. Let me know if you have any questions, need help with gift giving ideas/wrapping, etc. I am here for you!

Happy Tag Making! Britni :)

Fancy Favor Card

Take a close look at the bottom of this gorgeous card. Okay, now think to yourself...where have I seen that before? No, I am not that good at tearing...haha.

Okay, now think about the Fancy Favor Box for the Big Shot! That is how I made this card. I used some Melon Mambo and DSP, Thoroughly Modern to finish it off.

I love when there are many uses for one die for the Big Shot! Love it!

Cupcakes!

Cupcakes, Cupcakes! Cupcakes are so popular these days. It seems like you seem them at parties and weddings. This card could then be used for many different occasions!

I love how this card turned out. My mom loves to use glitter so when I was designing this card for Card Club I knew that I was going to use glitter. I then had to figure out where to go from there.

I started with a Soft Suede base, then Razzelberry Lemonade, another layer of Soft Suede, and then some Melon Mambo to bring out all the colors in the cupcakes. The cupcakes are from the set called Crazy For Cupcakes! I stamped it in the Soft Suede and then used my in-color markers to color it in. I then applied a little glue with my two way glue pen so that my glitter would stick on top of the frosting on the cupcakes.

This is a simple card that makes a big statement with all the colors. Don't be afraid to mix and match colors. Our DSP makes that really easy because it guides you in what colors go together nicely.

Have a wonderful week!

Joy!

Staying on the Christmas theme to finish off the week, I thought I would share with you a 3-D project I had my Big Shot Club ladies make. For this cute little banner, that could be put on a bag, on your Christmas tree, or even your mantle I used the Two Tags Die. I then punched out Real Red Scallop Circles to add some color on top.

For the letters I used my Big Shot Alphabet set. This is a simple project that you can make for yourself or someone else.

I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy project idea.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Lovely Snow Tree

At my workshop on October 3rd, this was the favorite card of the day! The best part about this card is I used a non-Christmas set.

This tree is from Lovely as a Tree. That set is a wonderful, beautiful, classic set. It is a wonderful set to use for so many occasions and for men and women.

For this card I started with Always Artichoke, then Bravo Burgundy, and then topped it off (no pun intended) with the Top Note. I stamped the tree by coloring the stamp with Chocolate Chip and Always Artichoke markers. I stamped the Merry Christmas in Bravo Burgundy and these words are from the Four the Holidays stamp set in the Holiday Mini.

Then to complete this card and tree I used my White Gel Pen to just dot a little snow on the tree (I hope you can see that in the picture). Oh, it makes the tree look so real! I love how it turned out.

I hope you are thinking about your Christmas cards. Have a wonderful day!

Happy Planning! Britni :)

Merry Snowmen!

Okay, Okay...I know most of you are not ready to be making snowmen, but we do need to start on our Christmas cards!!!

For this card I stuck to one color family, the Bold Brights! I love how these colors really made these snowmen pop. They look so animated with their colorful scarves and hats.

I hope you enjoyed my snowmen from the More the Merrier hostess level 3 set.

Happy Snowmen! Britni :)

Patterned Pines!

I love to earn Hostess sets! This set came out when the new Holiday Mini came out. I was so excited to get a chance to earn this set for free! This set is called Patterned Pines and I see why they named it that! The trees all have a different pattern on them!

I also used my Teeny Tiny Wishes which is a wonderful word set. It is a newer set in the regular Catalog and Idea Book. These words work great with the Picture Window and Modern Label Punch. You can see that I did fold this card a little different and added some ribbon. As my cards have been this week...this is a simple card. It doesn't require a lot of complicated stamping, but it still looks really great. The Always Artichoke and the Chocolate Chip look very nice together. The white keeps it looking crisp.

Happy Christmas Card Making! Britni :)

On Dasher....

When I saw this stamp, I first saw it as the Decor Element. I knew that I loved it! Then I saw that it was a stamp you could purchase on the under $10 page. How cute is Dasher?

I kept this card very simple and it is great for a new stamper! I am using all these Christmas cards at my October workshops and Christmas Card Make and Take at the end of the month.

I used Real Red, Garden Green, and Merry Moments DSP to complete this card. Dasher makes this card great!

Oh, the Cardinal!

The Christmas Cardinal is back! I loved this guy last year and we get to use him again this year!

I know you might be saying that it is way too early to start Christmas cards, well I don't think it is. Too many times the time goes so quickly and we don't get cards done or even sent out. So, start now and maybe you can get them out early!

I am using my Christmas cards for my October workshops and my Christmas Card make and take at the end of the month. I wanted to keep this simple, quick, and easy for stampers of all stages.

I stamped my Cardinal in Ruby Red and the words in Old Olive. I also stamped some words onto the Old Olive using my Versa Mark. I layered with a little Chocolate Chip and put it all on Ruby Red. I added some tearing to give it a rustic look. I love how the details just pop from this cardinal stamp. It is just beautiful!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)
