Blog Out of Order

Well, I have been without internet for awhile now....yuck!

We are fighting with the company to get us serviced so until I get it at my house I will not be doing my blog posts. Hopefully I won't be gone too long!

Baby Thank You

I was asked to design a thank you card for one of my pregnant friends. She wanted a few really nice home made cards to send some thank yous out after a shower.

This is what I came up with. I used the Baby Bundle (I sure am getting my use out of this set)! I also used Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery for the colors. I love those two colors together. I used my scallop edge punch and corner rounder punch. I also added some brads and a little paper piercing at the bottom of the card.

She was very pleased with the result and I liked it so much that I made some for myself!

Thanks for stopping by again today. I hope you enjoyed this sample. Don't forget that you can always change the image and you have a different kind of thank, birthday, or any occasion card!

Cupcake Big Shot

Big Shot tags are so quick and easy to make. How adorable are the Top Notes with just a cupcake on them. All you need to do is add some ribbon and tie it to a bag. The other option would be to just cut a card and add it to the front. So many options with such a simple design.

This cupcake die also comes with pieces to decorate it such as sprinkles and candles. I just kept this one simple.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Acts 17:25-26 "And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live."

Mini Card

Here it is! This envelope is part of the box die that I featured on Wednesday. As you can see the envelope is very cute and small, but perfect for a small tag or gift bag.

For this card I did not want to do any stamping on so I got out my Big Shot flowers again and added those to the front of the card.

Keep on cranking those Big Shots! What are you working on these days?

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Acts 17:29 "Therefore since we are God's offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by man's design and skill."

Bitty Box

Check out this adorable little box. It is the perfect size to stick some jewelry or candy in it and you are ready to go. I love how simple gift giving can become once you have easy gift wrap.

This box is one of the new Big Shot Dies in our catalog. It is very simple to put together once it is cut out. I also added some texture and flowers to jazz it up.

Come back on Friday to check out the envelope that is also part of this same die.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Acts 17:24-25 " The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else."

Red, Black, White

Just Believe is a beautiful new stamp set in our Idea Book and Catalog! I think I can say that it is one of my new favorites. There seems to always be one flower set that is my fave and this is it right now.

I kept this card so simple, but it turned out very elegant. I stuck with Real Red, Basic Black, and Whisper White. I used some DSP from the Brights DSP Pack. I love how you can get many different colors and a lot of everything. It makes scrapbooking and card making a lot easier.

I just stamped the image in Black, add the Black around the image, and some Black ribbon. This card does not take much time to make.

I hope you enjoyed this idea today. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Big Shot Magnet

We are now providing you with several wonderful options to cut in your Big Shot. One of those options is magnet sheets. I love them! It is so easy to peel and stick the paper you want on there and then run it through the machine.

I also added a cute flower to the top and I was done. How easy is that for a gift? You could make several in a very short amount of time. My mom suggested that you fill an entire sheet with the paper you want and then cut out the shapes you need and then you are done even quicker!

Happy Gifting! Britni :)

Sail Away

I purchased this stamp set called Uncharted Territory to help me with my Scrapbooking of our vacation. We visited the UP of Michigan and saw a lot of water, sail boats, and lighthouses. Ask to see my scrapbook at the next event you attend if you are interested.

This card was cut at 4 1/4 and then scored at 1 inch in. I folded that up and placed the Bashful Blue on top of that. I then used my crimper behind the sailboat image. I also used my crimper for a small piece that I placed at the bottom of the card (you can see this from the inside and the outside.). I added the words that come with the set and punched this out using my Oval Die with my Big Shot.

This card is simple, but uses some good techniques that we have had forever. I also think this would be a great card for a man for any occasion.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Baby Wheel

My Card Club girls like to make requests at times and I always love when they do. When they ask for certain techniques then I know something I can focus on for the next Card Club.

Last month they requested to use wheels more. I decided that that is a simple request so I have a wheel scheduled this month and next month for them.

This wheel is the Baby Tee wheel that coordinates with the Baby Bundle set. I kept this very neutral so it could be used for either a boy or girl. I did stamp thank you on this one, but it could easily be adapted for someone to stamp congratulations. I used the wheel and to help me get it straight I got out my Stampin' Around Wheel Guide. This helps me get my wheel exactly where I want it and straight! I then used my scallop edge punch, polka dot embossing folder, and my own fingers to tear.

I love this card and I hope you do, too. I used several different techniques on one card I think it really made it look nice and added a lot to the card.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Countryside

What more do I need to say? This is one of the stamp sets that I knew I would be getting right away when this catalog came out.

This is a complete Britni design. I love when I can just sit down and come up with something off the top of my head. I usually start cards by picking out some colors that I want to use and then get to work. My ideas change and transform as I move along, but somehow it all comes together.

For this card I used Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Night of Navy. The background is stamped with the background stamp called Sanded. I then ran my Night of Navy strip through the crimper. I have not had that out of my closet in way too long. It was so fun to use and I think the effect looks great on this card. I then had fun stamping and coloring the images. I colored with my colored pencils and then blended the colors with my blender pens. I thought these would make great manly birthday cards so I added a nice image and saying on the inside and of course Happy Birthday on the outside.

I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it. Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)
