Initial Tags!

How fun is this tag? Like I said...you will be seeing these colors a lot! I just love these colors together.

This is another Big Shot project, but my Card Club ladies get to make it! Get excited ladies! For the middle I used some chipboard that comes in the back of paper packs, etc from Stampin' Up. I cut that and the Thoroughly Modern DSP using my Scallop Circle on the Big Shot. I then cut out my initial with the Big Shot in Soft Suede (new in-color). For the Big Shot flower I used Rose Red. This is a very fun project and it looks adorable on a bag or purse.

This is a great quick project to add to a gift bag or give as a gift to someone special. Have fun with it!

Happy Gifting! Britni :)

Give Thanks - New Hostess Set

I love how this card turned out. I know I say that a lot but it really amazes me sometimes how a card can just come together. Yes, at times it takes a lot of thinking and changing, but eventually it works and looks great!

For this card I used Creamy Caramel for the background and then used that stamp pad to just apply color directly to the paper. I then used my Big Shot for this card because this will be one of the cards my ladies get to make at their first Big Shot Club (this is for members only that are purchasing the Big Shot). I used a Chocolate Chip Top Note and layered it with a Bravo Burgundy Top Note which was texturized with the new Stampin' Up Perfect Details Texture Plate. Then I also added the Stampin' Up Little Leaves. I knew this card needed some words on the front so I used my new hostess level 1 set called Holiday Best. I have a feeling I will be using that set a lot!

There is a lot to this card, but it is worth it. Let me know if you have any questions about the card of the Big Shot club!

Thanks for stopping by. Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Celebrate! Good Times!

So, I love to plan parties, but I also love to make things for a party. I am having a little get together for Julia (since she is changing all of our lives!). I of course had to stamp the invites. I had a lot of fun choosing girly colors and using my big flowers from Petal Pizzaz.

This card came together very quick and easy. I was able to cut all the paper once I designed one and make a little assembly line for myself. I will say that I sat on the coach and watched tv while I cut the big flowers.

I then of course I was going to mail these invites, so I had to stamp the envelopes. I think that this makes such a difference and gives the finishing touch that the card needs.

What event can you stamp invites for? Have fun with it!

Gift Project: Magnets

Well, I decided that I better keep going with 3-D projects for this week. This is a quick gift project that you can do for a friend or as a hostess gift.

For this project I used Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Rose Red, and So Saffron. I also used some older paper from the SAB catalog. This project is very easy because all you have to do is some quick stamping and then using circle punches and scallop circle punch. You then layer and add a magnet on the back. How easy is that? It is a great way to dress up a frig or filing cabinet.

Have fun with this project!

Happy Creating! Britni :)

Eat!

Have you seen the new Decor Elements catalog?

I love it! I just sit and try and figure out where I could put another one. I really love to use frames, though. This is a great way to make a quick project, but it is also move-able.

When I saw this new one I knew I had to have it. I thought it was so cute. I got it in red because someday we would love to paint our kitchen red (we will see if that happens). I used my Big Shot texture plates to put diamonds on the red and white pieces. I think that the white makes the words pop and the other colors just all go together so well. I love how this turned out. Take a minute to look at the Decor Catalog and decide what creative project you can do.

If you are afraid to place one of these on your walls all by yourself, give me a call and my mom and I are getting pretty good at it and could help you!

Happy Decorating! Britni :)

Another Way to Decorate Your Canvas Bag

Oh, what can the Big Shot not do? The Big Shot can cut through so many materials. Fabric is just one of those many materials that it can cut through other than paper. I do love to use my Big Shot for paper and making cards or scrapbook pages, but a new project is always nice.

For this project I used a canvas bag that I purchased at Wal-Mart. I then used some left over fabric and cut out two scallop circles, a Top Note, and the letter B. Now don't look at my sewing job....I am still a beginner sewer. I did try my hardest. It was a little tricky, but I got the job done. Another option could also be to use fabric glue instead.

This is a really fun way to personalize a bag for yourself, a friend, or even a gift bag to put a birthday present in.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this sample!

Happy Big Shot! Britni :)

Birthday Wishes

What do you think? Would you love to make this card along with 3 other birthday designs? Sign up today for my Make and Take. It is this Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 pm at my house. You get to make 8 cards for $10. I hope to hear from you today. I need your RSVP by Sunday.

This card uses two of the new In-Colors. I used Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo. I also used my Big Shot! I used it to cut the White Top Note for the background. I also used my brand new punch Modern Label. A lot of our words fit so nicely into this stamp. I love how you can layer the Word Window on top of this new punch. I also used one of my favorite stamp sets called Inspired By Nature. I love how you can use this set so many different ways.

I hope you enjoyed my sample for today. Don't forget to send me an e-mail with your RSVP for my Make and Take this Tuesday!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Birthday Flowers

WOW! Look at these colors together. I have always loved these two together and now Stampin' Up has come up with Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay as two new in-colors. I can just say that you might all get tired of this combination because I might be using it a lot!

I made this card very simple, but I thought the result was great! I started with the Soft Suede on the bottom, then a layer of Bermuda Bay. I then stamped my Kraft using the stamp set Wow Flowers. I added some ribbon (which I love the polka-dots by the way) and used some circle punches to top it off. It all came together very quickly!

I hope you enjoyed this card. Take some time to stamp one like it on your own. Change the colors and you have a whole new card. Turn the card and have it go the other way, yet another card. I love how easy cards can change yet you use the same basic beginning. I would love to see what you have been working on.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Be Creative!

If you didn't make it to my New Catalog Bash then you missed out on my new sign. This sign was inspired by the fact that my husband said, "You need a new sign!" So, when he starts to think that then I know it is really time. He actually helped me, too! First, I made him help me figure out a new saying. He thought of this great saying of Be Creative! How appropriate is that?! I cut all the paper and then he ran it all through the Big Shot. He loves the chance to play with a fun gadget!

Then it didn't take any time at all to put it all together and then he hung it up for me. What a good one...I think I will keep him for awhile longer!

For this project I used Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, Dusty Durango cardstock, Crushed Curry ribbon, the Crop-a-Dile, and Jumbo Eyelets.

Thanks for stopping by to see this project. Remember these banners work great for any party or occasion. You can make it as long or short as you would like.

Have fun creating your own sign!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Purse

This project is just another reason why I love my Big Shot!

This project is made using two of the envelope dies cut by the Big Shot. I then cut the bottom a little smaller and attach the sides and the ribbon at the same time using brads. This is such a cute and simple project. It would work great for a small gift, treat box, a little girl's birthday party! The options are endless.

For this project I also used the new Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.

Thanks for stopping by for this quick and easy project!

Book Mark

If you came to my New Catalog Bash, you got to make this beautiful project. I love how simple, fun, and elegant this project turned out. This project idea came from a need. I needed a magnet that I could easily slide and keep my place in my knitting patterns. I decided to make some rather than go buy them. These really work great for what I needed them for. You could use them for a bookmark in many different places!

For my New Catalog Bash I knew I wanted to use some of the In-Colors. I was able to use Crushed Curry Paper, Dusty Durango Ribbon, and Rich Razzleberry Stamp Pad. I love these new colors. I really hope you do, too. I plan to use this a lot at my events! For the background I used Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.

To get this great flowers that I attached to the ribbon using a brad I used my Big Shot die Birds and Blooms and cut them out of the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.

The magnets I was able to get at Wal-Mart and they were already this exact size. How easy is that. I love easy craft projects. I used sticky strip to attach the ribbon to the magnet.

Thanks for stopping by today. Let me know if you have any questions!

Happy Marking! Britni :)

Decor Options

With a new catalog, we also have a new Decor Element catalog! I can't wait for you to see all the great new options. I am very excited and I just sit and try to figure out what I could put in each room. There are so many options and colors.

Well, here is a great example! My mom got the Upsy Daisies Decor Element in Taken With Teal to put on the back of her lap-top computer. It turned out great! (She thought we needed to take a picture while I was wearing that cute scarf that is almost the same color.)

The best thing about this project is that it is cheap, easy, and quick. It only cost $9.95 (plus s/h and tax).

I love that our Decor Elements can be so versatile. There are so many options. Just wait until you go to my mom's house again.....she has done a wonderful job with a Decor Element on canvases!

Mom, Thanks for sharing as always. I really appreciate your ideas and excitement about crafting!

Thanks for stopping by today. Let me know if you have not seen our new Decor Element Catalog. You don't want to miss it!

Blooming New Colors

WOW! Do you just love these new colors? I know that I do? The minute I saw these colors I knew that I had to have them! Of course purple (Rich Razzleberry) and pink (Melon Mambo) have to be two of them, which are my two favorite colors.

For this card I used the new DSP called Razzleberry Lemonade! I can't wait to get my hands on some of the other DSPS. They are beautiful.

I then stamped the flowers from the stamp set Bloomin' Beautiful. It was so gorgeous when I stamped it in the Rich Razzleberry that I almost for a split second didn't want to color it in. Then I remember that we have MARKERS FOR THE IN-COLORS! and I got really excited again and realized I had to color those flowers in. I think it just turned out great. I used the Bermuda Bay for the leaves and Dusty Durango for the flower pot. The bee was stamped in Dusty Durango and colored in with Crushed Curry. Maybe a got a little carried away with all the colors, but doesn't it look good? You would have done the same thing! Just wait until you get these great markers!

Alright, well I think I have gone on and on enough about these great new products. I can't wait for you to see just how wonderful they are.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)
