Wedding Box

The wedding season is almost here. I just attended a wedding myself and here is the box that I took with me. I'm so forgetful...I forgot to take a picture of the gift inside. I made four coasters using the stamp set called Lovely As A Tree. They turned out great and I heard the bride say those are really nice. That's what I was going for!

For this box, I took some of my retired paper and wrapped the bottom with one side and used another sheet of the same for the top but flipped it. Stampin' Up's paper is great for yet another use! I thougth it made it look elegant. I then put the card on top, but I knew it needed something else. I added some ribbon and flower brad to make it pop. I had a lot of fun getting this ready!

Be creative when you are preparing for weddings. Homemades gifts and wrapping are always appreciated!

Happy Wrapping! Britni :)

Sale-A-Bration is almost over!

Hello Stampers! Now is your last chance to take part in Sale-A-Bration. After Tuesday these stamp sets, ribbon, and paper will be gone! Get them while you can. All you need to do is place a $50 order and you can choose any of these items for FREE from the SAB catalog.

For this card I used the Designer Series Paper Delicate Dots, the stamp set Polka Dot Punches, and the Certainly Celery ribbon from the ribbon bundle. These are all wonderful coordinating items from the SAB catalog. I love how easy they make it for us to coordinate!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful rest of March. April is upon us!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Happy Birthday, Oen!

Speaking of the Big Shot. My last post featured Big Shot pieces and so does this one. I saw a similar card to this and I knew I had to make on for my nephew. He will be turning two on Wednesday, but this weekend we will be celebrating his birthday.

He loves Elmo right now and so I have a feeling he will love this card.

For this card I used my large scallop circle on my Big Shot. I then used Circle punches and a free hand cut the mouth. Elmo is so cute!

Be creative and see what you can come up with using your punches! How simple, but cute is this card.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed Elmo!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Homework?!?!?!

Yes, I give out homework....I know how hard am I on my Card Club girls? Last month I gave the girls some Big Shot pieces and challenged them to take them home and see what they could create. I had two people complete the assignment. I think some ladies will be staying in from recess!!! haha :)

Teresa did the beautiful card on the far left. I love the Botanical Blooms stamp (Sale-A-Bration) that she used in the middle of her Big Shot piece. There is still time to get that stamp set, but it will be gone April 1st.

Brooke did the other two cards. She did a great job incorporating the Big Shot pieces into two different cards. I love the colors, too. Thanks for sharing ladies. They look great!

I hope you enjoyed these great ideas! Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Coaster Class

Drum-roll please.......and the winner of my weekend contest is Aunt Bonnie! (I used my random integer generator online to choose my winner as I always do.)

Check these out! These are some of the results of my coaster class. I'm sorry, Shani and Teresa, I forgot to take a picture of yours and Teresa's mom's.

I think that the ladies that attended this class had a blast. These coasters are so easy to make and don't take much time at all. The best part is if you mess up you can wipe it off and start over again. (Would you like more details, let me know and we can talk at my next event or when you place your next order.)

The coasters with the beautiful leaves, flowers, and the butterfly are my mom's. She used our great new hostess level one set called God's Beauty. Great job, Mom!

The tree to the left also turned out really great. Sue did all of her trees with different colors of leaves. This set is called Thoughts and Prayers. Thanks for sharing, Sue!

Julia used a retired set that has these beautiful flowers in them with great detail. She chose rich colors to make them really stand out. I love it, Julia!

As you can see you can use all kinds of different sets to make your coasters. I didn't think the real detailed sets would look good, but look how they turned out. They are great!

I hope you can join us soon for a great Make and Take. They are always a lot of fun and full of great ideas.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

God's Beauty

Check it out! Look very closely...what do you see? Do you see that awesome texture on the Top Note? I love my new texture plates from Stampin' Up! I decided to double up with the Big Shot. I first cut out my Top Note and then ran it back through using my texture plate. Wow! The Big Shot can do so many different things.

I then used this beautiful hostess stamp set to accent this background. The saying says it all on this card!

You have until July to earn this great hostess set! I wouldn't let it pass you by. This butterfly will make beautiful spring and summer cards.

Thanks for taking time to check out my blog! Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Card Holder Folder

Wouldn't this be a great gift? I am always looking for great home-made gifts to give to friends and family. There are different holidays and occasions to give gifts anytime of the year, but wouldn't it also be nice to receive something just because?

I watched a great demonstrator video with some of my fellow stamping demonstrators and this is one project that I learned how to make. This is a folder. As you can see below the outside of the folder is decorated to match the coordinating cards. The inside of the folder has two slots where you can place three envelopes on one side and the three cards on the other. Then after they use the cards and envelopes they could use it to keep coupons, vacation memories, cards from someone else, etc. The ideas ar endless. It is a gift within a gift.

Would you like more information on this project? Join Card Club today or let me know you would like a copy of the instructions when you place your next order!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day! Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Sale-A-Bration!

There is still time! Sale-A-Bration is still here, but not for long! SAB is a great time of year for customers and demonstrators. I have even earned some FREE stamps myself. When you spend $50 you can also get a FREE stamp set, paper, or ribbon bundle from the SAB catalog.

Well, I am off and gone again and I like to have a contest while I am gone (we are at a wedding this time). Would you like to win something from the SAB catalog? I bet you would. Leave me a message by Tuesday night and tell me your favorite card or technique that I have featured here on my blog.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Sticky Note Valentine

Here is another example of the Sticky-Note holder. I loved making these and I really loved making this one for my mom. I love to give and receive useful gifts. This is a great item to stick in your purse, backpack, or craft bag for those quick notes.

Be creative in how you embellish it. Have fun, but use a sturdy paper to make sure it weathers going in and out of bags. You can always make a coordinating pen to go with it.

Have fun and thanks for stopping by today! Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Florida Scrapbooking Part Two

Here are some more of my florida pics. I only did two spreads, but I thought they turned out great. These pages contain more pictures so I had to think of a creative way to display them and make them flow.

I kept the similar pictures together. All of these shots are focused around the birds. I love nature and I loved watching the birds at the beach. Justin and I also had to have a photo shoot with the birds. Justin enjoyed chasing and scaring them a little too much!

A great element of these pages were the cirlces. It helps draw your eyes around the pages and everything isn't a square. I started with the build-a-brads on the right side and I thought those turned out great. Then with the circles around the shells on the left it really topped it all off.
I would love to share these pages with you. Come to an event and ask to see these pages. I had a ton of fun making them and I thought the results were great.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Florida Scrapbooking Part One

Well here they are! I got my Florida pictures scrapbooked. It didn't take me that long to get them done. What I loved was that I could order my prints from snapfish and they come right to my mailbox. That makes it easier on me.

For my scrapbook pages I used our new and beautiful textured DSP, Parisian Breeze. It is so beautiful and it really made these pictures stand out. I also used our stamp set called Seaside. These shells were perfect because these were the shells we saw in Florida.

As you can see I did a lot of layering. I love layers and it adds texture and a great visual effect.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I am so thankful for my faithful bloggers. I love that you take the time to check out my new creations and it keeps me motivated to make new and exciting projects.

Don't forget...it isn't too late to sign up for my April 4th Scrapbook class. All you need is a Scrappin' Kit and an album. I will provide stamps, markers, stamp pads, and punches. If you want embellishments such as brads, ribbons, etc then you will need to bring that.

I will be your personal scrapbooking coach that day and I will provide scrapmaps and great scrapbooking pointers. Let me know ASAP if you are interested in coming to that class.

Happy Scrapping! Britni :)

Rooster!!!

When I saw this rooster I knew I had to have it. As a demonstrator we get a sneak peak at some of the stamp sets before anyone else. This was one set that we had a chance to buy ahead of time, too. I am so glad that I waited. I get chances just like you do to earn hostess benefits!!! I earned this set for FREE!

To make this card I used a design that I saw on another card, but modified it to fit my design and colors. I love how it all went together. My mom noticed that the Ruby Red with the Basic Black words stamped made the Ruby Red seem even richer and darker.

I hoped you enjoyed my rooster as much as I did. Thanks for stopping by!

Hostess Flowers

I love how this card turned out. I wanted to keep it simple, but really focus on the words and flowers.

This is a hostess stamp set that is worth earning. When you stamp it it stamps just the outline of the flowers and leaves. I thought the card was beautiful that way, but then I decided to get out my pastels and color in the flowers. This made the flowers really pop off the paper and made me say WOW! It is amazing what one small detail will do to the entire card.

The colors used for this card were Ballet Blue, Rose Red, Kraft, and Always Artichoke. Host a workshop and earn this great stamp set. It is worth it!

Thanks for stopping by. Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Jumbo Paper-clip card

I love cards and gifts all in one! This is a great way to give just that small gift to someone that you care about.

This is easy to make when you don't have very much time.

For this card, I used our in colors, Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, and Tangerine Tango! I love how these colors go together so well.

For the paper clip, I used a Jumbo Paper clip that you can find at Wal-Mart. I just punched out the scallop circle and layered with the flowers that I punched using my circle punches. I tied a little ribbon along the top to give it just one more element.

These are the types of projects that we do at Card Club. This is March's 3-D project! This is always room for more to join.

Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Stamping! Britni :)
