Tea Time!

My Mom and I came up with this cute idea together. She made a suggestion and I went with it. I really like this. This would look so cute inside a coffee mug, a gift bag, or on top of a package.

I used the Top Note and when I cut it with my Big Shot I made sure to fold it just right, place it on there, and then I had two Top Notes connected.

I folded down a little of the top one and used the brads to close it so that there was a little pocket for the tea bag.

The stamp set used on this is called Morning Cup. How perfect for any coffee or tea lover.

Well, say goodbye to February and welcome in March!

Sparkly Cupcake

Another cupcake.....Who doesn't love cupcakes?!

For this card I used the stamp set called Crazy For Cupcakes. I stuck with two colors for the paper, Marina Mist and Whisper White. I did add a little So Saffron in the background to break up the Marina Mist a little.

On the frosting I used some sparkles. I used my two way glue pen, added the sparkles, and then dumped off the excess. It gives the card just a little sparkle, but not too much.

Thank you so much for stopping by this week to check out my card ideas. I hope you have enjoyed them and are inspired to stamp!

On A Pedestal

This stamp set is called On A Pedestal. I love how you can make a really tall cake or just a short little cupcake with this set. I also love the cherry that you can put on top!

For this card I used my scallop edge punch, polka dot embossing folder, and scallop circle punch.

The colors I used were Daffodil Delight and Chocolate Chip. You can never go wrong with Chocolate Chip! This is a simple card, but a little different look.

I did top the entire card off with some Whisper White ribbon and a little twine.

I hope you enjoyed this idea and take it and make your own card!

Bookmark Card

What a great idea! My Mom wanted to make some Valentine's using this wonderful glitter paper from the mini. She thought about a few different ideas, but when she sat down to create she came up with bookmarks. How perfect! She is a teacher and these Valentines went to her teacher friends. I love how this "card" was also a useful gift. They can use this way after Valentine's Day has passed.

She used some older paper for the background and some left over stickers from a scrapbook kit she has. She used her heart punch with the glitter paper and added a jewel to the heart, which I love! She did use her Teeny Tiny Wishes to stamp her message and added some ribbon to top it all off. I think these turned out great and I hope her friends loved them.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing."

Polka Dot Flowers

Here is another card that I made for my Grandma. She told my mom and I that she could use some generic note cards to send out. This way she can send them for any occasion or reason. It is always nice to have some "plain" cards on hand.

For this card I had a lot of fun because I used my favorite set, Just Believe. I colored directly on the stamp with my markers to make the flowers and stems different colors. I then layered with Garden Green and added a pearl in the corner. I knew the background needed some texture so I ran the Chocolate Chip through my Big Shot and used my Polka Dot embossing folder.

I really love this card! Hopefully her friends will enjoy it, too.

Another Butterfly Version

If you remember last week I showed you a card very similar to this one. Now I wanted to make some cards for my Grandma and she is not a huge fan of purple so I decided to make her a little different card. I changed the colors, but I did not change the layout. I hope she enjoys sending these to some of her friends.

The colors I used on this card are Bashful Blue, Rose Red, Whisper White, and Soft Suede. I also love the twine because it keeps that earth feeling for the card.

Thank you for all the comments lately. I love all the feedback that everyone is giving me. It tells me someone is reading my blog and that you are enjoying the projects!

Mark It!

I recently had a workshop and instead of doing door prizes I decided to give each person that placed an order a cute bookmark. These are so simple, easy, and quick to make. I used an embossing folder for the base, added some DSP, then an eyelet, and then some ribbon. It really is as simple as that!

I love how cute they turned out and I hope the ladies enjoy them. :)

They will condemn him to death 19 and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!"

Brooke sends me some beautiful cards in the mail and I thought that I better stop hogging her gorgeous cards and share them with all of you!

I do have to say that I love sending cards just as much as I enjoy receiving them. Homemade cards are just a blast! :)

Guest Artist: My Mom

I love it when my mom has time to create because she always does such a beautiful job. She was inspired by my Lovely as a Tree embossed card that you saw on here not too long ago. She (and many other people) wanted to make more just like it using other stamp sets.

She needed a card for a baby shower so she got out some great DSP that has the blues that are going to be in the baby's nursery. She then pulled out the Old Olive to coordinate and stamped the elephant on the Top Note that was folded in half when it was sent through the Big Shot machine.

I love how she used the Modern Label punch for the words and attached it with brads. Very cute! The mom getting this card will love it and appreciate all the work that went into it.

Great job, MOM! See where I get all my creative genes?!

Acts 17:27-28 " God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring."

Spritzing in the Country

Again, this is the last card in this series of cards that have the same base.

I finally ordered some smooching spritz and the box to spray it into. I love it! Okay, so I messed up the first card I tried it on, but that is okay. That is how we learn. This was the second card I tried it with. I placed my Always Artichoke paper in the box and sprayed away. It turned out great for the background.

I then stamped the truck from Countryside onto the Very Vanilla. I tore the bottom edge to match the two torn pieces of Chocolate Chip. I thought the card needed something to top it off so I added two silver brads. Simple, but great card for any man or country person in your life.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful week.

Tissue Paper?

Same base card, different look. It is cool how different these cards can look, but they use the same base!

For this card I used Marina Mist, Rose Red, Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Tissue Paper! The stamp set is currently my favorite set called Just Believe! I also used the Eyelet border punch.

For this card idea I used my Stampin' Success. This is a wonderful magazine that I get in the mail each month. It is full of ideas on ways to expand my business, but it also gives demonstrators great card ideas. This card came right out of there.

I colored my flower stamp with markers to get the different colors and then stamped it on the Whisper White. I then put adhesive all over the entire paper so that I could then lay the tissue paper on top of it. You can't really see it in this picture, but this effect is very cool in person. I love the look it gives it and just think, all I used was tissue paper. That is not really a huge expense! I love using items from around the house.

I hope you love this card as much as I do. Card Club ladies you will be making this card this month. I hope you love it!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Matthew 15:35-17 " 35 He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. 36 Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. 37 They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over."

Beautiful Butterflies

I have used this set before, but you have not seen it for awhile. This set is in the Spanish catalog. There are a few sets in there that are not in the regular catalog and this is one of them. I love this set because of its gorgeous details.

For the next three posts you will something that all the cards have in common. They are all the same base card. You will see what I am saying once you look at all of them. When I designed these cards they went so fast once I focused on one design and just changed it up a little for each card.

I used Perfect Plum, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla for this card. As you can see I stamped and layered the images onto the Very Vanilla. I loved how it turned out and that it can be used for many occasions. I did not add any words, but I could add those later to personalize it before I send it to someone.

Can you honestly believe that it is February already? How the times flies and each day goes by way too fast with Jady!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I love all the comments that people have been leaving. Keep letting me know what you think. I am listening! :)
