Farm Life

I was so excited when I saw that this stamp set was going to be in this new catalog! I have been waiting for a set that I can use to scrapbook some of our farm pictures. This set will be perfect for that!

I used this set at my last Card Club gathering. I think the ladies had a blast using it and some of them chose to use the barn stamp.

For this card I went simple because the art of the stamp is gorgeous. We used the Stampin' Pastels and Blender Pens to color in the image.

We also used the paper piercer and mat pack to help us poke the holes in the two corners.

I think it turned out great! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog today!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Congrats Julia and Zack

As a lot of us know Julia and Zack were married yesterday! Congrats to them. I made this great project for a Bridal Shower their families had for them last weekend.

For this project I started with the idea that I wanted to make something with their name. I thought I would need to do some stamping with the letters, but the letters fit so nicely in the frame.

I then coordinated the card with the framed art.

For this project I used Thoroughly Modern DSP, Big Shot letters, and the Inspired by Nature stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you liked my idea and can maybe make one of your own. I realized that maybe I should make one for myself I liked it so much!

Happy Gifting! Britni :)

Boy B-Day!

I love the simplicity of this card. I took two basic colors and one stamp set to keep it simple. I used the stamp set called Starring You. It works great for a boy's birthday card or birthday invitation.

All I did was stamped the starts onto the white paper and layered that with the Taken With Teal. I then did the same for the center circles. For the words on the bottom I accented them with the brads that I lined up using my Mat Pack and Paper Piercer.

Thanks for checking out my creative idea for today!

Purse Card

I love how these new in-colors look together. I just keep putting different ones together and they still look great! I love how they complement each other.

For this card I used my Big Shot die called the Top Note. I then folded over the tip part and trimmed the sides a little. I added some brads and ribbon to make it look like a purse.

This card would be great for a little girls birthday card or even birthday invitation.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Happy B-day, Dad!

Tomorrow is my dad's birthday and I designed this card just for him. He loves old trucks and he loves many other things that have wheels. I thought he would appreciate the combination of the two.

I love this new added on set to Loads of Love. It is called Loads of Fun and it is full of fun vehicles that most of the men in your life would enjoy. I also think it could be used for boys, too. A versatile set is always nice.

I kept this card simple, but did add some great details. I used my Big Shot Texture plate that has dots on it for the background to coordinate with the circles around the Happy Birthday. I know he will appreciate the extra effort I put into this card.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog. Have a great week!

Gift Set

Oh, how I love to give gifts and I even love giving them more when I have made them myself.

This is a gift for my friend Martha. I got to know her this summer and she is off to college again. I thought I would send her away with a little gift and it actually worked out that it is her school colors. How fun is that?

I used the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and some of the in-colors. I also used my favorite stamp set called Inspired by Nature. I love this set and I found out that Martha likes these flowers!

I did a complete gift by stamping the bag and adding ribbon. I then made the notebook with a matching pen. I then added a small box made out of the envelope die. When four of them are put together it is the perfect size for Post-It notes. I thought she might have room for that on her desk at school.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this great gift idea. This set would make for a wonderful birthday gift or even a Christmas gift. Useful gifts are always appreciated.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

File Folders

Don't forget....I have a Make and Take on Tuesday the 18th. I need your RSVP by Friday if you would like to attend! We will be making 8 cards all featuring sets from the Growing Up Section in the catalog!

Onto the sample. Check out this great file folder...wouldn't it make filing so much more fun if you had some of these?

Well, you can get these from the catalog....they are so beautiful. All I added to this were some circles from the Circle Circus stamp set and then used some circle punches to punch them out. That was all it took to add to this file folder. They are actually very cute and you wouldn't have to do anything to it, but what would be the fun in that?

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Notebook Set

Don't forget....I have a Make and Take on Tuesday the 18th. I need your RSVP by Friday if you would like to attend! We will be making 8 cards all featuring sets from the Growing Up Section in the catalog!

These notebooks make such great gifts. Adding a pen that has paper inside and a ribbon around the cap just tops it all off, too!

For this notebook set I used the paper Thoroughly Modern. For this friend I knew she loved these colors so I knew I had to use this paper. It was easy to design it from there. I then used several punches in this design. (Circle, Scallop Circle, Modern Label, Eyelet Border, Scallop Square, and Picture Window) Wow! If you want to invest in something...I guess punches are the way to go. I use them all the time!

The words on this notebook are from the hostess level 3 set called The More The Merrier.

Don't forget that when you assemble these notebooks you want to use sticky strip so that it stays on there in and out of a purse or bag.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Country Morning

This card is also a make and take from my StampAttics meeting. I got to use this beautiful stamp set called Country Morning. It is one of the new hostess level one sets.

The exciting thing about making this card was that I also got to use a Stampin' Up product I have never used before. We used the Watercolor Crayons. I love how these turned out on this card. We colored these in a little and then used the Aqua Painters to blend the colors. I even added a little shadowing under the bottles.

The second technique I love about this card is that she had us use the paper piercer in all four corners and as a triangle. I love it! You will be seeing some of these new techniques coming soon!

Thanks for stopping by again.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Kissing?!

Yes, the title does say kissing. Okay, so you probably never thought that would be a stamping technique....interesting.

I recently attended my StampAttics meeting. It is a time for a lot of demonstrators to get together to share samples, ideas, and workshop ideas. It is a lot of fun! It really gets me inspired with the new ideas.

This is one of the cards that we got to make that day. It is like a fun Make and Take for me! The base of this card is Sahara Sand and the stamp set we used is called For All You Do. Now on to the kissing....for the larger flower we first stamped it in the rose red, then stamped off once. We then stamped the square that had dots on it in the Bermuda Bay which we then stamped the flower onto the dots. Then when you stamp the flower on the paper, it looks like it has dots. This is so cool!

We also used Thoroughly Modern Paper and Bermuda Bay ribbon.

Let me know if you have any questions. If you attend any of my events I could even show you this technique. It is something different and fun to try.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope I have inspired you as this meeting did me.

Happy Kissing! (I had to say that!) Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Christmas Boxes...yes I know it is only August!!!

Well, this has turned into a Big Shot week. I love my Big Shot and I am so glad that I got one! Okay, before you get upset.....I like to think ahead and start to plan Christmas way before I really need to. I actually have some Christmas presents hid away. So, let's start thinking about it. These little boxes are adorable! This is the Fancy Favor Box for the Big shot. These would be perfect on a Christmas table for each person, with a small treat for a classroom gift, or even wrapping small gifts such as jewelry under the Christmas tree.

These boxes went together very quickly. I could make several of these in an afternoon.

Contact me if you are interested in these boxes but do not have a Big Shot. You could purchase a Big Shot or we could figure out a time together and cut some of these for you.

Happy Christmas Planning! It is never too early to start planning! Britni :)
