Baby Invite

Check out this adorable stamp set. I love this new Baby Bundle set. This is the same set that I used on the photo albums last week. This stamp set is so versatile. It works great for gifts, cards, scrapbooking, and it really lends itself to baby invites. Again, my mom and I are going to be very busy. We offered to make the invites for one of my baby showers so I sat down right away and designed a simple card.

I again used my Big Shot to cut out the Top Note and also to texturize the background, Rose Red. The base of the card is Perfect Plum. Since the inside was so dark I thought it would be adorable to add another Top Note and to use the stamp that is with this set that provides a list of all the info needed inside.

Can I just say how fun it is to use girly colors to design all these projects? I think we will have fun putting these together!

I am going to be needing some Thank You cards here soon after my baby showers so I thought I would get one designed. Mom and I can now take our time making these.

For this card I got out my Pun Fun stamp set. This is a set that has been around since I became a demonstrator. This is one of the first stamp sets I ever bought. I love this sheep and of course the pun!

I used So Saffron for the base of this card, then added some Perfect Plum and textured it with an embossing folder on my Big Shot. I also cut out a Scallop Circle on my Big Shot that frames the sheep that is cut out using a circle punch. I also used two other punches to frame the words. This is an involved card with lots of pieces so I am glad we have some time to get these put together!

You could easily change the image and words and use any of the Pun Fun stamps for this card.

Artistic Etchings

Artistic Etchings is a new set that I thought was a must have from the new catalog. I saw it and knew it was something I normally would not order. So far everyone that has used it has loved it!

For this card I kept it simple and clean. I used Whisper White for a base and then layered with Marina Mist. Mariana Mist is my new favorite color. I have used it a lot so far and I know I will continue to use it. I also used Marina Mist ribbon. I love this ribbon. It feels nice and just adds a small elegant touch to the card.

Baby Bundle - Album 3

Here it is. Here is the third album that I worked on for my baby pictures.

I love how the Top Note gives the stamped image a nice frame. I did also use my Big Shot and a texture plate on the background after I stamped the bottles, rattle, etc. You can't really see that in the picture, though.

I also wanted some ribbon this one so I added the Jumbo Eyelets so that I could tie the ribbons through them and they could hang off the side.

I hope you have enjoyed this idea this week. These albums have just had the original front picture removed and I placed in the new stamped imaged. Simple, easy, and quick gift for yourself or someone else.

Baby Tees - Album 2

Here is the second album I made. I made this one for my mother-in-law to store her photos in. I did add some So Saffron to the color scheme for this one.

These tees are on a Jumbo Wheel that coordinates with the Baby Bundle. This was a simple one and fun to color. I also loved stamping the background with all the extra stamps in the Baby Bundle set.

Baby Bundle - Album 1

Check out this brand new baby stamp set. Can you guess why I would purchase this one?! :) I love this set and I have already used it a lot.

After my ultrasound the other day I knew I needed a spot to keep my pictures safe of my precious little girl. I also wanted to share the pictures with family and friends.

This album I made for my mom for her pictures. As you can see I used Rose Red and Perfect Plum. We are not big pastel people so we are staying around from them and going with nice bright and rich colors. I also used Jumbo eyelets to tie the ribbon through.

Because I care Hostess set

Check out this Hostess Set! It is gorgeous. One thing I noticed about this new catalog is that I like almost every hostess set. There are times when I only like a couple, but wow there are some really nice ones this time. (You can always have a book party to earn hostess sets for yourself. All it takes is passing around a catalog and collecting orders from your friends.)

Because I Care has great details and you barely need to do anything to it once it is stamped. I am not sure if you can see that I did poke some holes along the edge, but once that was all done decided it did need some ribbon. I added some ribbon behind the Scallop Oval punch and the Oval Punch . I love how great they worked with these words!

Awash With Flowers

This is such a wonderful two step stamp set. It is a brand new set in the catalog. I love it so far and hope to find some more great ideas to use it. I did take this idea from Splitcoaststampers website. It is simple, but adorable. I did choose my own colors, though.

For this project I used our brand new Daffodil Delight color....OH I think I love this new color! I accented with Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise, two of our wonderful classics.

Since this is a two step stamp and I am still in love with my wooden blocks I did get out my stamp-a-ma-jig. Don't forget that it works wonders to get items just where you need them on your projects!

Flower Party Box!

These great boxes are in the current mini catalog. They are so adorable and easy to put together. You would not have to add anything to them, but I thought a few Big Shot flowers and a brad dressed them up even more.

Don't forget that if you want some of these to get them ordered before the end of August. These would make great party favors or save them and wrap small gifts in them. They are too cute to pass up!

Christmas Trees

Oh bummer...you can't get the full effect of this card because the picture didn't come out that great. As you can see I used Whisper White and then layered Night of Navy for a nice winter color. I did use an embossing folder on the Night of Navy. I then cut a piece large enough to fit my image and words.

I always show Justin what I am working on and this one was his favorite. This may have to be our cards this year....we will see what happens!

I also added some ticket corner punching along most of the edges. That just gave it a little something more without using an embellishment. Remember to think about mailing these cards when you are assembling. The post office doesn't always like our big ribbons, etc. Keep it simple and it still looks great!

Lineup for Christmas

Now this card may look a little familiar. Check out our Christmas section in the 2009-2010 Idea book and catalog. You will see a card very similar to this. I wanted this stamp set last year and never got it. When I saw that it was in the new catalog....I knew I had to have it!

I love this set. What takes the longest with this card is the coloring in. You could color less or even more than I did and it would still look great.

I love how simple this card is, but how many different colors you can incorporate into it.

Cardinal Christmas

This week I will be featuring Christmas cards...why you ask? I need to get a head start this year with my baby coming in November. That sure doesn't bother me....I am a planner and like to do things ahead of time anyways..this just gives me a really good excuse!

My Christmas in July class will feature this card. I used Real Red as the base and you can see that I used a simple fold. I used the cardinal from a Flower for All Seasons. This is a simple card, but with a nice message inside it is perfect! It is also easy to mail since the ribbon is not too bulky.

It is always good to keep your Christmas cards simple so that you do not become overwhelmed when you have to make so many at one time.
