Wild About You!

Wild About You is a great kids stamp set. I really love this set. I would say it is one of my current favorites, as of today at least! I designed these cards for my Card Club ladies. I think they really enjoyed putting these together.

For this card I really had to challenge myself to use different colors than I normally use. I wanted to be nice and cheerful and colors that a child would like. That is how I ended up using Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, and Certainly Celery. Now remember if you want any of the in-colors such as Tangerine Tango...You will want to get those before the end of June otherwise they will be gone and we will have brand new in-colors starting in July!

These cards would work great for a child's birthday or even a baby shower. I used this same set for a really neat gift idea. I won't give it away, but I will share it with you at some point ( Card Club ladies I showed you at our May meeting).

I hope you have enjoyed these cards as much as I did making them. Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Twila's Swap!

Do you recognize this beautiful Designer Series Paper? I just love this paper. It is from the mini and called Walk in the Park. Now, if you really like this paper, but have not bought any yet you will want to do that before the end of June. After that it will be gone!

Several months ago I did a swap at my upline/downline/sideline meeting with products from the mini. Twila did a great job of incorporating several things from the mini. She also used several really nice embellishments that I have never used before.

Let me know if you have any questions about any of the products used on this card. I thought it turned out wonderful! Do you have some of these products? See what you can come up with and e-mail me your results!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Small Notebook - Part Two

Check out this paper! This paper made this notebook look so beautiful. This paper is called Washington Apple. Remember we are getting closer to the end of this catalog. That means the in colors will be going out so papers such as this set will also be leaving. As you are looking through the catalog pay attention to anything that has the in colors in them. You need to get them while you still can!

I used Stampin' Up's 5 X 5 Art Journal. Now the exciting part about making this notebook was then it came time to cover the front, but there was a spiral in the way. Well, guess what...you can use SU's spiral punch to make the paper fit perfectly. WOW!

I hope you have enjoyed this second notebook!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Small Notebooke - Part One

For this beautiful project I used Stampin' Up's 5 X 5 Art Journal and Washington Apple Paper. I made this notebook and the one you will later this week as a gift.

Some other supplies I used were our felt flowers (Flower Fusion) and colored flower assortment brads. I love how all these looked great when I layered them with some of the DSP punched with my scallop circle and popped up with a dimensional.

The ribbon tied on the spiral also tied (no pun intended) everything together.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Make and Take - Ice Cream

Doesn't this make you hungry for summer? I am ready for those warm summer days when all you really want to eat it an ice-cream cone. Well, for now we will have to settle for a paper ice-cream cone! This was so quick, easy, and fun to make. You can see that I used my scallop circle punch to make the ice-cream. I free handed the cone and I also added some sparkle to the ice-cream to give it a little something more. I like how simple, but cute this card turned out.

I then used my Fundamental Phrases stamp set to add a little greeting to the front. I love this stamp set and use it all the time!

Tuesday, May 26th (6:30-8:30) or Saturday, May 30th (10-12) Make and Take – We will be gearing up for summer by make ice cream cones (yes out of paper), popsicles (yesterday's post), and something with a water bottle. You will be making six cards and one water bottle project! You can join in on this fun for only $10. This will be very exciting with lots of fun new projects! I hope you can join us! Please RSVP by Saturday, May 23rd.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope this made you hungry for ice-cream!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Make and Take - Popsicle

Okay, so it really hasn't been warm enough for us to be wanting popsicles yet, but just wait. I hear the warmth is coming.

How fun would it be to give this card to a child for their birthday? I love this card! I received a card very similar to this in a swap about a year ago and I am just now getting around to making one of my own. I thought now would be the perfect time to have you make it and my upcoming Make and Take.

There are two possible dates for this event. Tuesday, May 26th (6:30-8:30) or Saturday, May 30th (10-12). Let me know ASAP if you would like to attend either event.

Let me know if you have any questions about this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful Monday!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Beautiful Flowers

I can not get over how this stamp set makes card look so beautiful. There is still time for you to earn this set, too. This is a hostess level two stamp set called Echoes of Kindness. It is just so gorgeous. This may be one that I won't be able to part with right away. You have until the end of June to host a party and earn this stamp set. Let me know if you are interested.

This card started with Lavender Lace and Basic Black paper. I stamped the flowers and the words in black. I then used my markers to color in the flower. After using my markers I smoothed the color out with my blender pens which gave it a really nice look. Then off to the left side I used my circle punches and brads to add another element to the card. Wouldn't the right side of this card make a great bookmark?

I just love the look of these flowers.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Measuring Love

Check it out! I love how this card turned out. This stamp set called, Totally Tool is the best set for most of the men in your life (at least those that know how to use tools).

With this card I carefully picked out earth tone colors that I thought would work for a man's card. The colors I ended up with were Garden Green, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, and Ruby Red.

I also used the spiral punch to add a little to this card. What I think really makes the card is the background. I first used my brayer to apply the ink to the Sanded background stamp. I then ran that paper through my Big Shot using my texture plates.

To top the whole card off I then stamped the words at the bottom of my card. I think this will make a great Father's Day card. Good thing he doesn't look at my blog or all the surprise would be gone!

For this set, I cut the words and the images apart so that it is easier to just the image or just the words. This makes the set a double mounted set, but I feel that it works best this way.

I can't wait to see what else I can do with this set, maybe it will get me started on that farm scrapbook Justin wants me to work on.

I hope this gets you thinking about your Father's Day cards. Have fun!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Georgia's Swap!

Check out this great card. I wish I could say that I made it. This card was made by my upline, Georgia.

This was Georgia's card for the swap we had at our last meeting. She used a lot of different wonderful Stampin' Up products on this one card. She used the Butterfly die with the Big Shot. She used Raspberry Tart DSP which brought the whole card together with the butterfly and the DSP on the bottom. She used the oval punch and the new scallop punch with the coordinating, Oval All stamp set both from the mini catalog. These products will be around until the end of June and then they are gone, when the mini goes. Take another look at the mini while you still have time.

She did a great job with this card. Let me know if you have any questions about this project.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Another Notebook - Walk in the Park

Here is another example of the notebooks we made at my last Make and Take. We have had a lot of fun doing some great 3-D projects lately. At my upcoming Make and Take we will be doing some really fun summer cards and a 3-D project. Sign up today for Tuesday, May 23rd - 6:30 at my house. (I am considering having another class that Saturday the 30th - let me know if that date works better for you.)

For the notebooks we used the wonderful DSP from the mini called A Walk In the Park. You will be able to get this paper until June, but after that it will be gone!!!

The stamp set I used was a hostess level one, God's Beauty. I love the details in this set. Using the Big Shot was a very quick way to finish off this notebook.

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Small Tote Bag!

And the winner is.....Aunt Bonnie! You will receive a sheet of the printed window sheets. I hope you have fun with them! I want to thank all of you that responded to my contest and gave me great feedback. Thank You!

Isn't this cute! I love this little bag that I got to make with my fellow demonstrators. All the supplies were provided by Georgia...thanks Georgia!!!

She bought these adorable bags and we added some felt pieces to them. All we had to do was get out the Big Shot and we used some of our wonderful dies to cute out beautiful shapes. I went with the scallop circle and the butterfly. I don't have the butterfly die so I knew I wanted to try that one for sure. We then glued the felt pieces to the bag using fabric glue and added some glitter and some pieces from the pretties kit.

I thought our bags turned out very cute. You could also use the small canvas bags to do the same type of design on. These types of bag also work great to stamp on with our Craft Inks.

Be creative! Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Oen's Card

Hello Stampers!

Here is another birthday card! This is the card that my mom made for Oen's 2nd birthday. She used the new stamp set Choo Choo in the mini catalog. When I saw this set I knew she would have to have it. Since Oen was turning 2 she used nice bright colors from the Bold Brights family. She also used the wheel that goes along with the train called Right on Track.

For the train she stamped the three pieces and then cut them out and popped them up with dimensionals. I think the card turned out great and everyone at the party loved it!

Great job, MOM!

This stamp set will be available for two more months. At the end of June the stamp sets in the mini will no longer be available for purchase. Get them while you still can.

Thanks for stopping by today. Again, if you have questions leave a comment and we will get those answered!

Happy Stamping! Britni :)

Happy May Day!

WOW! It is May already. Can you believe it? Well, I want to take you back to when we were younger and May Day meant May Day Baskets. I loved to put together a cute little basket with flower right out of my yard.

Well, that is exactly what I did. I stepped out my back door and found some beautiful flowers right in my yard.

Now for the basket I used my Baskets and Blooms Die with my Big Shot. The DSP I used was Rainbow Sherbet.

I hope you have enjoyed my look back in time. I do hope that people still do this wonderful tradition.

Now I would like to give you a chance for a little May Day treat. Would you like to win one of those window sheets that I have been show casing all week.

Well, here is your chance. From all the links that I have on the left of my blog, tell me which one is your favorite or which one you use the most. Then all of my wonderful, faithful, and loyal customers will then be entered in to win a printed window sheet. I can't wait to hear your comments. Please comment by Tuesday.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy May! Britni :)
